• Abilities and Potential

  

  Unicorn Blood: a thick, silver substance capable of bringing back to health even those on the cusp of death, full of arcane potency and a sought-after ingredient in alchemy. Contains holy attributes that make consumption violently painful and potentially deadly for unholy creatures.

  Ice Manipulation: gifted at the time of her birth with a form of cryokinesis by the North Wind, she is able to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms in order to bring down the temperature in a localized fashion. This allows her to create ice seemingly from thin air and control it thereafter in a limited capacity.

  Immortality: once a unicorn reaches adulthood, they cease to physically age. While not invulnerable, without violent intervention a unicorn might live a millennia.

  Shapeshifting: with her natural state comes a human shape she may change into and out of at will, and though some beings may be able to detect the presence of her horn in this form, mundane creatures will see only a star-shaped freckle on her forehead. Demi-transformations may also be possible, but haven't been explored.

  Purification: the horn of a unicorn is capable of purifying even the most tainted of substances, rendering poisons, venoms, and tranquilizers benign. Stagnant water and spoiled food renew beneath its touch, as can flesh, though this generally takes more energy than is in her best interest to spend.

  Arcane Affinity: naturally gifted with the innate ability to use magic, but extremely inexperienced in the art. With practice, she might one day be a powerful sorceress in her own right. For now, her abilities are extremely limited.
